Project Overview
Fairoak Farm is a luxury 5-bedroom residence on the outskirts of Cardiff.
The property was the most expensive house in Wales at the time of purchase by a high-profile sportsman, who required several changes to be made to the existing configuration and all designed to match the existing high specification of the property.
This included the transformation of an existing outdoor swimming area into a new indoor leisure space retaining the swimming pool and with the addition of a gym and sauna. A new extension enable the creation of a large family kitchen, complete with enhanced dining space. A new bespoke curved staircase was installed in the entrance hall.
Morgan Civil and Structural provided the civil and structural design for the project; with the existing pool area proving to be a particularly difficult space due to ground conditions and the negotiation of existing services.
